Hi, I’m Steve Dogiakos, the founder of Paperless Docs Online. I’ve always been passionate about finding practical solutions to complex problems, whether in my professional work, volunteer service, or even my hobbies.
A Heart for Community Service
For years, I’ve been deeply involved in my hometown of Choteau, Montana. I served on the local city Council, helping to guide decisions that impact our community, and continue to serve on the Choteau Area Port Authority, supporting local economic development.
Nonprofits are a big part of my life, too. I’ve had the privilege of serving with organizations like the Choteau Lions Club and Choteau Lions Club Founation, The Montana Dinosaur Center, the Choteau Chamber of Commerce, and Choteau’s Scouting programs. These roles have taught me the importance of clear communication, efficient systems, and reliable record-keeping—lessons that directly influence my approach at Paperless Docs Online.
From Self-Hosting to Document Management Solutions
My journey with Paperless-NGX began in my own “homelab”. As someone who enjoys self-hosting services and building digital tools to make life easier, I stumbled upon Paperless-NGX while trying to wrangle my own growing mountain of documents.
